The Beginning

G.M. Syed was born on January 17, 1904, in the village of Sann, Sindh. From a young age, he was deeply influenced by Sufi mystics and the socio-political conditions of British India. His life was a testament to the struggle for the rights of Sindh and its people.

He was not just a politician but a philosopher, a writer, and a historian who authored more than 60 books.

Birth in Sann

Born in the household of Sadat-e-Sann, carrying a legacy of spiritual leadership.

1930

Entry into Politics

Started his political career by organizing the ‘Hari Committee’ for the rights of peasants.

1943

Resolution for Pakistan

He moved the resolution for the creation of Pakistan in the Sindh Assembly.

1972

Jeay Sindh Tehreek

Founded the Jeay Sindh movement to advocate for the cultural and political rights of Sindhis.

1995

The Legacy Continues

Passed away on April 25, leaving behind an ideology that continues to inspire generations.
